A Welcome Return |

|
Having been the worst night of the year for ASB reports around Earlswood Lakes in 2025, we told you we would be patrolling the lakes last weekend. Not only did we enjoy speaking with those around the lakes, but Warwickshire Police only received 1 call about ASB in the area, even after we left. When that call did come in, we were already there on scene!
We are very happy to have PCSO Avery back on the team after returning from maternity leave. Yesterday she hit the ground running by helping PCSO Davis to identify two child shoplifters in Henley as well as 6 teenagers who have been causing damage and nuisance on the sports fields in Studley. All in one day. Those persons will all being having some contact in the days to follow.
At the same time, I walked over 5km (3 miles) on the streets of Sambourne and another 4km around Ullenhall. While thankfully crime rates are low in smaller villages, we know how important it is for more remote residents to see a uniform pass their home rather than a marked police car. I hope this will be a more regular feature.
